About Us
We’re building an ecosystem for women and minorities in emerging and advanced technologies.
Who We Are
Ignite Innovation Technology Foundation (I2T) is a regionally focused tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) foundation established to bridge the digital divide by introducing middle and high school students, who live or attended school in economically challenged communities, to emerging and advanced technologies.
Through the dedicated efforts and proven experience of our team, we provide a holistic and customized approach—collaborating with industry, academic, governmental, and philanthropic partners to create pathways to access and increase participation for women and minorities in disciplines that include Artificial Intelligence, Automation Systems, Data Analytics, Sensor Technologies, Augmented and Virtual Reality, and advanced manufacturing.
The I2T team is committed to collaborating with its partners and with its stakeholders to bring innovative, sustainable training and workforce solutions that address the needs of our constituents. Because job automation and economic downturns will exacerbate disparities for women and minorities in the current workplace, I2T has the added mission to provide retraining opportunities for employed and unemployed adults as a pathway to economic prosperity
Our Values
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a collaborative platform where women and minorities gain awareness and access to proven training, education, and workforce solutions, resulting in lasting careers in emerging technologies while realizing increased economic independence and provide a vast pool of talent for all stakeholders, including industry, academia, and government in the emerging technology ecosystem.
Our Mission
Through enhancement of a partner school’s core curriculum, a robust mentor and volunteer program, career training opportunities and collaboration across the private and public sector, I2T will to bridge the “digital divide” for women and minorities in the field of technology and fill the void in the tech ecosystem.
Our Partners
Why Donate
There are many factors that create barriers which prohibit women and minorities from being introduced to the possibilities of becoming digital creators and technology innovators. I2T is a registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. Tax-exempt donations will provide training and support for economically disadvantaged youth in the field of technology and will supplement the training/retraining cost for economically challenged adults.
